Share the journey

With a diagnosis of MS in 1998 it was time to consider what I was doing to contribute to my dis-ease. Were my personal daily choices of thoughts, food, household products and skincare impacting my health?  With more and more evidence pointing in this direction and the unwaivering belief that I didn't want to be a victim, it was time to empower myself and make daily choices that would benefit me, not harm me.

This began a journey which included the use of organic skincare but it was difficult to find a store where you could find (and sample) an extensive range of natural skincare products.

Even the trusted Health Food stores would disappoint. A limited range to choose from and with a scrutiny of the ingredients list it was evident many 'natural' skincare products suffered from Greenwash Marketing and didn't really belong on the shelf of a 'Health' Food store - and anyway they were a Health 'Food' store. Where could I find somewhere that took natural and preferably organic skincare seriously?

In early 2011 there was a small add in a local newspaper advertising a natural skincare store for sale.....the store was only 3 months old but the owners had other dreams to follow - this was my opportunity.

After purchasing the business I rebranded the store Organic & Eco to better reflect the vision I had for the store and the range of products I wanted to share with the rest of the community.

My journey is now your journey - join me in protecting your body through the use of safe natural skin care and our precious environment through sustainable farming and manufacturing processes.

The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own.  No apologies or excuses.  No one to lean on, rely on or blame.  The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it.  This is the day your life really begins.
