You might be thinking, why would you want to put charcoal in soap? You want to get clean, not dirty ... right?
Well the charcoal I use in this soap isn't the type you scrape off your burnt toast - it's a specially activated kind that can absorb toxins and excess oil from the surface layer of your skin.
The tiny particles also unclog pores and gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells.
This soap contains a generous portion of activated charcoal, plus a complexion-loving essential blend of tea tree (soothes red, inflamed skin and acne), and lavender (a natural antiseptic that soothes and heals).
Charcoal Complexion is designed to be a facial soap, but of course you can use it on the body as well (I have and it's quite lovely). Suitable for oily, combination, blemished or hormonal skin.
This soap is made from scratch the old-fashioned way, so it retains its natural glycerin content.
The bubbly, silky lather feels fantastic on your skin and it cleanses gently without stripping away your skin’s natural oils – no more dry, tight feeling.

Each large, generous bar is hand-cut and weighs approximately 140g (5oz), and comes wrapped gift-ready in cellophane and a label.
The palm oil we use in our soap is sourced from a supplier who is a member of the RSPO (roundtable on sustainable palm oil): the international organisation that promotes the growth and use of sustainable palm oil.
